Minutes of Annual Meeting

The annual meeting was held at the Lancaster Event Center on January 12, 2008 at 6:00 pm.  Present were Kent Martin, Keith Rahlfs, Jay Warren, Matt Thompson, Doc Lemon, Mark Wray, and Diane Olsen.

 The board approved Zac Wiges as the newest board member, replacing Landon Lugar.  All remaining members of the board were re-elected.  The board also approved an increase in the nomination fee from $35 to $40 per nomination, and an increase in membership fees - $25 adult, $10 youth, and $45 family.

 For the 2008 show season, Janet Tonniges will maintain the website, keep points, and do the newsletter.  Nomination forms are in triplicate, with one going to Janet, one to the exhibitor nominating, and one to Diane.  Show results will be sent to Janet within 10 days of the show.   

Run money will now be collected from the show manager/secretary rather than the cattle contractor.  The show manager/secretary will sign an agreement to that effect before the show will be approved by the association.  Failure to sign will eliminate the show from being pointed.  Run money will be sent to Diane within 10 days of the show.

 Meeting was adjourned at approximately 6:30 pm.
